Overview

Ratchet Altair assitant commander of the New York Kagekidan has left to oversee the implementation of the Berlin Kagekidan, squad commander Taiga Shinjirou is filling in for her duties including playing the role of Cleopatra in the next play, reluctantly. Meanwhile a mysterious egyptian enemy appears, his goals are unclear... Move-out New York Assault Force!

The episode begins with an archeologist or relic hunter exploring an Egyptian tomb, the door to the tomb opens up and a living mummy steps forth. Back in New York the Hoshi-gumi see Ratchet off as she leaves for Berlin to oversee the new Berlin Kagekidan. After she departs Taiga tells Sunnyside that he will fill in for all of Ratchet's duties while she is away; Sunnyside tells Ratchet that, that includes taking on Ratchets' role of Cleopatra in the upcoming performance. Taiga is shocked and does not want to be playinga female role on stage, when the rest of the Hoshi-gumi come in and dress him up in his old Puchimint costume. Taiga escapes and is persued in turn by each member of the Hoshi-gumi, this is their introduction if you did not previously play Sakura Taisen V, Finally Taiga is nocked out by Gemini and Rally.

Meanwhile a mysterious egyptian man, wearing the Eye of Horus, a turban and a cepter shows up in New York. He interupts a hostage/robbery and turns the gunman into sand.

When Taiga comes to, he and Gemini come face to face with a Puchimint fan asking for her autograph, Taiga signs the picture and comes to realize what he... or rather what Puchimint means to her fans. And he reconsiders the role. Just then the Egyptian and his Mummies attack the Statue of Liberty, Gemini and Taiga assist with the evactuation of Liberty Island while the rest of the team sorties, when the NYKD easly despatches the Mummies, the Egyptian summons a robot in the image of Anubis. During the battle the Egyptian looses control of Anubis and is saved by Puchimint who seems to remind the Egyptian of a woman he knew in ancient Egypt. The NYKD is victorious but the new threat still remains a mystery.

2. X... And the City

One morning Gemini decides to make breakfast for Taiga so she cooks up some steaks, when she gets there she finds Diana sleaping with him in bed. This freaks out Taiga more then anyone... Diana too came with food for Taiga, and just fell asleep when she got there. The rest of the Hoshi-gumi all arrive baring food, When Subaru is about to leave with her portion Taiga accidently agrees to eat all of it. Later at the theatre a very sick and bloated Taiga bumps into Diana and Gemini as they're carrying some props, a pair of pink framed glasses manages to land right on Taiga's face, the look instantly captivates Diana who insists Taiga use it when he's dressed as Puchimint. Taiga and Diana go out for some practice, and go to the musuem's Egypt exhibit. While there they once again bump into the mysterious egyptian and his side kick the Egyptian cat goddess Bastest, who again mistake him for this ancient Egyptian woman but the man tells Bastest it isn't her. After the encounter Taiga wonders if they have a right to plunder another countries treasures, but Diana tells him it's not stealing and for a young country like America it's a good way to learn the history of other countries. Taiga decides to be the most historically accurate Cleopatra he can. When they return to the theatre the other girls confront Diana furious that she went off on her own with Taiga.
